Zaka Ashraf has been appointed as PCB's chairman

President of Pakistan and patron in chief of PCB Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has announced the name of new PCB head tonight ,Mr. Zaka Ashraf ,president of ZTBL will take his charge from 12th of October.
Zaka Ashraf is a surprised choice as he was not a strong candidate in the possible names to take over this seat.
It was also said that Ijaz Butt's extension is under consideration but that was refused later by the President House.
Ex-cricketers are hoping a big change in PCB's administration and hoping that the new chairman of PCB will not repeat the history and will take some bold decisions for the sake of cricket in Pakistan.

Aitezaz Ahsan as new PCB chief ?

According to some authentic resources the new PCB Chairman will be announced probably on Wednesday 12th of October.

Ijaz Butt has finished his 3 years controversial contract as the head of PCB on 8th of October 2011 and after that he's been told to continue his job till new head is appointed by the patron of PCB Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.
Some of our resources also told that Asif Ali Zardari has asked Mr. Aitezaz Ahsan ,former president supreme court bar association to take over PCB as the the new head.

Razzaq Will Lead Pakistan In Hong Kong Super Sixes 2011

National selectors named experienced all-rounder Abdul Razzaq as the captain of Pakistan's squad for upcoming super sixes tournament later this month.

Abdul Razzaq is not the part of national cricket team after 2011's world cup but he will lead a strong team in Hong Kong super 6's which includes Umar Akmal, Sohail Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Yasir Shah, Hammad Azam and new upcoming player Sharjeel Khan.
There is still no signs of Shahid Afridi even in this format of the game but he will be representing  All Stars team with Sanath jayasuriya ,Hercshelle Gibbs ,Shaun Tait and some other International crickets.
Tournament will be played in Hong Kong from 28th to 30th October.

Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka

Pakistan to take on Sri Lanka in UAE later this month ,as international teams don't feel comfortable playing in Pakistan since attacks on Sri Lankan team back in 2009 therefore Pakistan will host 3 tests ,5 ODIs and 1 T20I in UAE this month starting from October ,18th.
Misbah-ul-Haq is retained as captain for all the three formats of the game and Mohsin Hassan Khan is named as the interim coach for this series as Waqar Younus has resigned from this job after the Zimbabwe tour.

Remembering that Shoaib Malik has got clearance from PCB and he is included in 15 men squad which was announced for the test series last month and still no Shahid Afridi sign in national team.

Pakistan cricket board's chairman Ijaz Butt has finished his 3 years constitutional contract as the head of PCB on Saturday, but he will be working as the chairman until Pakistan's president Mr. Asif Ali Zardari's next  decision who is also the patron of PCB.
Resources told us that Ijaz Butt will be working as the head until the next decision comes out from the President house.
"The matter of the extension of his tenure is under consideration.
As per the normal practice in our governmental system, anyone whose tenure ends can carry on with [the president's] consent.
So, while the case of his extension is being considered, he can work."
Farhatullah Baber told media on Saturday.
